I like my p3at and sub2000. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a keltec again at all. I have yet to see a keltec KB that wasn't caused by the ammo. Bad ammo will take out even an ar15 with 15 pounds of bipods, lasers, and 100 round mags.

The su series of rifles is pretty cool in that its affordable and its foldable. On the downside you can't get all the same aftermarket speed parts you can for an ar15, the barrel isn't chrome lined, and I don't especially like the twist rate for defensive ammo but its the same twist rate you'll find in most ar15's so big whoop.

Yup, not a 1:7 twist .223 available from kel-tec at all. Its a shame thats not whats in their .223 pistol.

I may end up getting one but that's only because I'm in California and can't get a real AR :wtc:

There is no point in a 1:7 unless you're shooting 75gr+ ammo.

Yes and I want to, hence I want a 1:7 barrel. While 7 is a cool number, don't you think I had a reason for saying that? ;)

75gr hornady tap otm seems to be the really sweet performer to me and above 70gr it looks like 1:9 won't cut it. It'll still handle m193 just fine. Since its a defensive rifle and shouldn't ever seen light bullets I don't see the advantage of the 1:9 twist.

You never know, the 75gr might work. Works fine in my BM 1:9

You can get one that is real enough for the range.

My friend has a KelTec SU16. I havent seen more than 30 rounds in that thing without it jamming or breaking.
