Hello everyone. I have recently graduated from Computer Programming in college, and I have landed a pretty nice job working for the government as a tester. I am currently applying for development positions in other departments, but I am concerned about keeping my knowledge up-to-date. Technology changes constantly, so I am searching for the best way to keep up with the changes.

I need some advice from any experienced programmers on how you keep up-to-date, or even any good sources of information that you know of.

I was thinking of buying programming books and programming in my spare time. I know that I should probably look into taking courses too, but I don't know how frequently I should do this.

Does anyone have advice for me on the best ways to keep up-to-date in programming and/or know any good sources to help keep up-to-date?
