i love my macbook, the only complaint is since the keyboard area is white, it gets dirty quickly. For example, in the empty space to the right of the touchpad, i rest my wrist there when i type, and its already getting a dark spot there. i was my hands a lot trying to avoid that, but i got it anyways.

i heard iklear works great, but its $20 and i dont want to keep spending money on it, cleaning it. does anyone else have this issue and do anything about it? ill use iklear definitely, but if its just going to get dirty again in 2 weeks, i dont know what to do. the spot just looks nasty

before i saw your reply i called the store i got it from, they said i have to set up an appointment with a "genius" so he can look at it. i kept asking so will they be able to clean/replace the part or not (i dont want to waste 2 hours of my day if they wont clean/replace the part). but the guy kept saying it will be looked at.

the reason that the eraser works so well is because it is abrasive. don't push down too much at first....it works the same as compound or clay bar on a car's finish. it won't take a lot to remove the discoloration.
