Keeping my MB plugged in

    Is it bad for my battery to keep my Macbook plugged in allt he time?

    I use a externall monitor and bluetooth keyboard/mouse when i'm at home so I keep the Macbook plugged in all the time at home

    I'd probably recommend using the battery (until the warning sign comes on) like once every 2 weeks or so.

    I asked the guy at the apple store this one time and thats what he told me. That's my only source though. It seems to work for me, my battery hasnt lost much life.

    Leaving the MB on AC power all the time will have as bad an effect as using it on battery. It will develop memory which will kill it. You should use it on battery power when possible. Let it run down almost till it goes to sleep, then put it on the charger.

    just take the battery out and use the ac power only

    I need someone to make a little macbook pro battery, that is only the case so it doesn't mess up my iCurve.

    It doesn't hurt it. The laptops are designed with a trickle feature that does some shit to the battery while it's chillin. I can't remember exactly what it said, but it's on apple's site somewhere. Power cord constantly plugged in = not bad in any way.
