keep a copy of messages on server question

    so, if someone does not have this option checked within outlook express (its not on by default), as soon as they connect up with the pop server, all their email is downloaded locally to outlook express

    what happens if they are an idiot and did not check this box. the only way of getting everything back onto the servers would be to forward each message again to themselves.

    any other faster way of doing this?

    install thunderbird, import messages, install [this plugin]

    or at least use an imap server
