i love watching his fights, but i don't think that the 5/5/5 minute rounds work well for him as would a 10/5 like in japan

what're some of his better fights? i can't find much of his stuff, but i want to see more of him :hs:

i just wish he could finish more.. all of his ufc fights are awesome. did you see him fight nick diaz.

the fighting on the ground was comparable to saku vs newton. was a great thing to see.

the standup on the other hand :ugh:

I just watched him vs GSP though. It was GSP's first fight in America and he worked him pretty bad.

yeah, the UFC is catered for the american audience, who prefers a striking match over a grappling one, hence the standard 5/5/5. most grapplers need more time to lock in a submission

do you have the fight with diaz? :x:

that was an awesome fight

i wish karo had at least some striking training though. he looks very very reliant on the fence too

he won the third round, got some takedowns and just generally gnp'ing, you should see his fight with lyttle, he hits some awesome throws, one of them lands lyttle right on the top of his head.

Karo's striking imo is really deceptive, he hits hard but is wild but at the same time he doesn't get hit alot. He actually has decent feints and head movement at times.

Watch his fight with serra, although he nearly gets ko'd at the beginning he actually inflicts some serious damage on serra's face with some of his standup. Also when he connects there's always a really nice big thud.
