    It looks good, some folks gave a sample 1600 iso photo in Raw .dng for folks to scrutinize.

    i opened it up in lightroom mainly to look at noise, and it doesn't seem bad as people were saying since it utilizes a sony sensor.

    i think its cool that the camera will convert to lossless .dng automatically for you.

    It's Adobe's attempt (basically) to create a standarized raw file format, as opposed to the many proprietary formats the different camera manufacturers use right now. DigitalNeGative

    yes siree bob, its a 6 meg dng, and then decompresses to a 56mb 16 bit tiff. if you so wish, no loss at all. i thinnnk its neeaaatttt
