just waxed my friend's ride.

    just did my friend's Daytona Violet M3 with S100, when he bought it, the paint had been neglected for 3 years, this is it's first detail job in some years..

    the car is a 95 M3, with a 98 M3 engine and OBD1 conversion and other "slight" AA modifications :)

    aww no love for the M3... a few people posted in the STi thread though ;)

    Once these fires go out here in SoCal, I'll try detailing my friend's '99 Dakar Yellow M3. Otherwise it's just a waste w/ all the ash floating around...

    Just spray them with tire stuff :) Works well.

    Acutally, clean them first :squint: :hs:

    id scrub with simple green then let it dry while i wax, etc then spray up in der

    :werd: It really sticks out when the rest of the car looks so damn good.

    Hell, I never did it when I first started out either. You just don't think about it but it really makes a difference when you do dress the fender wells.

    I just spray some Armor All up into them, it runs down and really covers everything. Dries to a nice semi-shine.

    You can see how nice and black the wheel wells are on this BMW 540i I detailed this summer:
