Just watched two great movies I'd never seen before: Brainscan and Life Is Beautiful

First, Brainscan. A horror/sci-fi classic. I'd always heard about how great this movie is, and now I can say that it's true. A video game that interfaces with your subconscious and places you inside the game. :eek3:

Even better, Life Is Beautiful. Roberto Benigni stars as a Jewish man in WWII era Italy, and follows his life as he pimps life (he's batman! Kicks ass in every situation), starts a family, and shields his young son from the horrors of living in a Nazi concentration camp. One of the most touching and enjoyable films I've ever seen. This is a must-see for everyone.

Brainscan looks interesting! I'll have to check it out. And I'm not a fan of Roberto Benigni, (painful memories of being in an empty theater opening day of "Son Of The Pink Panther") but I really liked Life Is Beautiful, I was surprised by the ending, which really gave the whole movie integrity.

Life is Beautiful is such a good movie. :hs:

My wife and I caught a morning show near the end of its run and had the screening room to ourselves.
