Wrong. iPhone/iTouch get jailbroken to install 3rd party apps.
Only iPhones get unlocked to use a different SIM card other than AT&T's.

go to installer.app and select sources. click on add. type in the following:

    modmyifone.com/installer.xml

and save it. it should refresh sources and list all the MMi stuff

Before you install any apps, I would upgrade to 1.1.2. for the simple fact that you will have to re-install the apps once you upgrade. Just make sure to install the 1.1.2 "prep pack" or you will have to do it all over again.

STFU you know what he means. Wanna beat him up about semantics.

Just play around with anything on there that sounds fun and then uninstall anything that sucks. Heck you can leave anything you don't like too and you'll still have plenty of storage space it's just a matter of crap filling up the space you want to get to the good shit. Search around if you want more source lists to load for fun stuff to install. The default lists should keep you busy for a while though. You'll start to see legit iPhone/Touch programs in Feb.
