just thought i'd pass the badass recipe on..

    Banana Flaxseed Muffins
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Ingredients:
    1/2 cup flax seed - ground it via coffee bean grinder or blender... or just buy it from Walmart this way.
    4 bananas, mashed
    1/4 cup olive oil (or vegetable oil )
    1/2 cup splenda
    2 eggs
    1 egg white
    4 scoops Banana Mass Meal (feel free to use vanilla or unflavored whey)
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 cup whole flax seeds
    splash of vanilla extract
    1/8 cup water

    Directions:
    Preheat oven to 350-degrees and lightly grease your muffin pan (I used Pam and it worked very well).

    In a large mixing bowl, beat together bananas, oil, Splenda and egg whites.

    In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients. Spoon batter into prepared muffin pan. Bake in preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a muffin comes out clean (this might vary b/c my oven runs hot).

    Recipe makes ~17 muffins.

    Each muffin contains ~ 7g fat/12 carbs (3g fiber)/6g protein = 132 cals

    Other options would be to add raisins, dates, walnuts, oats, use oat-flour instead of protein, etc.

    I think this would be something good to eat with your breakfast... good fats! 1g poly, 3g mono, 1g saturated

    Also, I would've done whey instead of Mass Meal, but I don't have any vanilla or unflavored right now. I think these things taste awesome, already ate 3 today..

    how would chocolate whey taste instead of vanilla or unflavored?

    walmart sells flax seed?

    i dunno.. i have chocolate too.. too scared to try it. that's a lot of whey to waste if it tastes like ass.

    some of the grocery walmarts sell flax seed

    i think this recipe would be 10x better if it were whey instead of a MRP

    im lazy for breakfast so i do 4 scoops of cytogainer 600 cals 54 g protein and 75g carbs while tasting like chocolate mint girl scout cookies :drool:

    oh dude, cytogainer has been the driving force behind my bulk.


    Ive gotten bad shits like once.. then my body stopped being a pussy and its fine now and i do 4 scoops 3 times a day. I usually have one for break fast, one right after my work out, and one right before i go to bed.

    2 g of creatine and 1g of glutamine per serving. cytogainer has also allowed me to "stretch" out my stomach so i can now down a 600 cal cytogainer shake in .2 seconds and still be hungry. I FUCKING LOVE cytogainer.

    keep in mind, i do 3 shakes a day but i also do 3-4 real food meals.

    super high carbs super high protein super low fat !


    ive been doing a clean bulk, gaining weight, and not putting on hardly an extra fat

    i have 0 cheat meals a week just all good food and I love it.

    mac and cheese and tuna has been a big staple of my diet as well

    try not to be so dependent on shakes dude... shit is FULL of maltodextrin.


    of course, i'd suggest going for food before ever using a MRP, but if you have to.. do a MRP (this includes making your own) over a weightgainer. a weight gainer is just that, a weight gainer. you want scale weight or muscle?

    im just using the shakes for the super high protein and the extra 1800 cals a day. I still eat alot of real food.

    im at 153-155 im trying to stabilize right now. im eating 3200ish calories atm. so roughly half of it is shakes and the other half is food , alternated shake meal shake meal etc

    1800 cals from shakes on a total of 3200 cals leaves you with 1400 cals which is not "alot of real food".

    whats the point of using the 1 egg white? why not use the whole egg?
