I'm 17 years old, 6ft 155lb. I used to lift weights like 2 years ago but then I stopped and haven't lifted in about 1.5 years. I'm going to start lifting again but I'm completely out of shape, skinny. I saw this workout posted in F&N awhile ago, is it a good workout to start out on? Should I make any adjustments to it? I don't see any ab workouts in it?

That is a modified 5x5 Bill Starr....

Prolly christophers rip of the Starr.

You can throw in abs anywhere or even on "off"/cardio days.

I always felt my abs worked out after squat/deadlift day. And I agree with Zero... If you want, throw in some isolation exercise for your abs on your other days as well.

    .

But you also need to work them out. No.

Aswell like supra said....squats will involve abs if you stabalize correctly and such.

I saw some threads about diet but they seem like they are for the serious bodybuilders. What would you consider to be a good diet? Normally I have 3 meals a day, for breakfast its usually a bagel with cream cheese and orange juice. Lunch is a peanut butter sandwitch, water and some chips and the dinner always varies, anything from tuna sandwitches to chicken to salad. I'll have a few unhealthy snacks between meals, like cookies and shit. I know I need to stop eating the junk food

what is your goal? To get mass/get bigger you gotta eat a hell alot more than that. Depending on how you deal with fatty foods then cookies and shit will suck.
