F&N Crew help me. Just started working out, trying to lose weight

I just really started working out and going to the gym, I think I have an alright routine that consists of weights and cardio 4-5 days a week. My diet consists of 4 meals a day, breakfast I eat a bowl of special K, lunch is usually some kind of chicken, turkey, or ham sandwich, snack is usually another turkey sandwich, dinner is more chicken or fish most of the time.

I am 5'11" and currently at around 230lbs and trying to get down to around 200lbs or so if I can.

Just wondering if there are any supplements that you guys would recommend me to use to help with the fat burning. Also any other help is appreciated.

My friends that workout a lot recommended sesamin, fishoil and green tea extract, but I really don't know much about them.

I was 5' 11'' 215/220 3 weeks ago and now I'm 5'11'' 200/195. All I've been doing is playing basketball just about everyday. And light weightlifting about 3 or 4 days a week. Nothing too extreme. (plus I'm low on weights..) I'm really just trying to lose fat right now... I'm taking no supplements should i be guys??

I just told him my progress and what I did to get there?

I kind of had the same question about supplements and since he's about the same size as me I didn't want to make a new thread?

    :hsugh:

My middle name is bret and my first name starts with a D. :noes:

And his diet looks exactly like mine besides instead of cereal I eat a banana for breakfast.

Don't worry about 'supplements' just yet. Work on getting your diet tweaked in. You might want to think of going to 5 meals a day with 2 of them being a protein shake w/your sandwhich. Get that all dialed in and then start adding supplements. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Also, a side note. Weight is a good goal, but once you hit that, you need to have another goal. I'm also trying to shed some pounds. But I'm not concentrating on the number of pounds. I'm more worried about being able to do 45 min of cardio w/o passing out. While you goal is good, think about expanding it to make you a more healthy person.
