i started working out like two weeks ago. now my forearms, the outside bottom if you're holding your arms out in front of you with your palms down, hurt all the time. but especially when i'm lifting.

no, they're not sore. the best i can describe it is it feels like shin splints but in my arms.

    :wtf:

common, happens to me every time i start doing bi's after not doing them for a few months. its either tendonitis or an accessory muscle spasm. either way, ice it down, take some advil, and icy hot patches work well. it just takes a few days to heal. until then, go easy on your bi work

happened to me too when i started doing bi's or any lifting involving arms, my guess is that the forarms are weak and cant take the stress of the weights so this makes them sore and u make em stronger :dunno: but what do i know? lol they should stop hurting later on...

hmm, i know EXACTLY what you're talking about. i get those too sometimes... less and less since i started working out, all i can say is that my forearms were/are probably weaker than the rest of my muscles, and they're catching up.

i had them..you are doing too many curls without stretching your forearms. the only way to fix this is to lay off heavy arm exercises for a while and let them heal. then go back to them and stretch between every set

I had the same thing last week - lower the weight and make sure you aren't using any wrist in your curl.
