Seriously, I feel like I'm going to puke eating all this. And what the fuck is up with a 143 lb dude having well over 200 g's of protein a day?

And to top it off, his formula suggested I should have done the cut diet 2500. I went with the 2000 because that looked like way too much. :ugh:

Is this normal for building diets or what? I thought there was such a thing as too much protein, and the diet isn't even really very low carb.

Yeah, although I hadn't made it to the gym in a couple of weeks, but I thought muscle took longer than that to break down... anyway, it must have been a combination of the new diet, being sick recently and still recovering a little bit, and not going for a couple of weeks, because I was weak as all Hell. I had to drop so much weight that it was embarrassing being in the gym.

Since today was the first day, and it was chest, I started with the incline press, then the flat bench, then db flies, and then when i got to the push-ups I just kind of fell on my face when I tried to go down. Fortunately, nobody was looking. The whole trip was just kind of pitiful and embarrassing :o

I guess it'll take a little bit to see the creatine, xtend/protein shakes and the cut diet itself kick in. I don't know why I was so horribly weak, though. On the bright side, I did work all my shit to exhaustion :mediocrethumb:

low carb isn't always necessary for cutting.

I'm 5'5" :o It's not as low as it sounds.

I'm at 16% and I'm going for about 10%. Shouldn't be too hard on this, but at the same time, I really need to gain some lean mass. Seemed like the best solution.

Right, but it's also not low calorie. It's not low anything, except saturated fat, which is nothing new. I guess the control over ph and insulin levels counts for a lot :dunno:

    I'm not in calorie depletion.

My RMR is 1670. I took a hydrostatic bf % test before I started.

The cut diet I'm on is 2010 calories, and almost 2200 on the carb load day.

Seems like a pretty big increase from the 1g/lb that trainers recommended to me in the past.

It's worth noting that those same trainers also showed me how to do some exercises the wrong way.

It's all coming together now

I am trying to figure out how the hell you are having trouble keeping up with eating a 2,000 cal cut diet

When I cut @ 2,500 cals I am still starving all day long. I mean, I have 70lbs on you, but still.

If you RMR really is only 1670kcal, you still have to factor in activity. That would add AT LEAST another 500kcal.

why the hell are you so concerned with embarrassing yourself at the gym? Thats the thing that stuck out the most to me in this thread. If you're weak just get a good workout for you, not to impress the 15 year old kid in the squat rack doing isolation curls.
