Just squatted 315x10, go meeee

    I busted ass Dec 07 through Dec 08 then started cutting in Jan 09 and my energy went to shit so my leg workouts became 3-4 sets of squats, 3 sets leg curls, and 10 sets of 10 (10 sec rest) standing calf extensions in the smith machine and that was it.

    I need to find a better way to cut because I just ended up losing muscle and some fat due to lack of energy on Pur's diet in the sticky.

    In Dec 08 at the peak of my bulk I squatted 315x7 I think. Through a combo of not having energy for workouts and having a week off here and there from moving back to CA and some trips I only hit 315x3 two weeks ago. Then I ramped calories up and last week hit 315x8, and today 315x10 and probably could have hit 11 :bowdown:

    Now I just need to figure out a better way to diet, I'm like 18 lbs down on where I was at the peak of my bulk and not much leaner :hs:

    really wasn't expecting to set a PR, I slept like ass like night and didn't feel good, was going for 5 or 6 but just kept finding the strength to keep going :bowdown:

    My gym has a fuck ton of box jump boxes increasing in 1" increments like the one pictured below.

    So I found one that would be a few inches below parallel with me sitting on it in my squat stance then while I was squatting I just had nice slow controlled descents and went back up when my ass just barely touched the box. I just did this to ensure that I hit parallel every rep, it can be hard to judge depth some of the time and I wanted to make sure I didn't come up early on my last couple reps.

    But the quick answer to your question is: parallel.
