Shot with a friend of mine today. I broguht my 91/30, AR, and CZ 52. All oif which I have never used. My friend brought his Romy AK and a S&W .40
Went over to a relative's and he has a 100 yard range set up that him and his friends use to zero in their guns for hunting season.

Shot mainly at about 30 yards or so.
Wasnt too bad with the AR. Sights need to be adjusted. No malfunctions.

CZ 52 had some kick to it compared to other handguns Ive fired before incl a 40 revolver. Amazed that the casings would fly 15+ feet after being ejected.
At 10 to 15 yards, had groupings about 6 inches wide, and a few inches down and to the right of the bullseye.

Then set up my 91/30 on the bench at the 100 yard line. Tried to shoot the 100 yard target that I had set up, but it was just too far. I was lucky most of my shots even hit the target. Then my friend had to get ready to go on a date with his gf, so we headed out.
Am going to have some bruises from that Mosin.

All in all, I had a good time

Also, I took my Plano handgun case, and cut a piece out to hold a flat of my ammo.

Sounds like a good time to me! Nothing like new gun day.

The tok round isn't all that impressive in gelatin, however it is a hot little round that can defeat light soft armor (probably just 2a, most likely safe in 2 and 3a) pretty decently by most reports http://www.theboxotruth.com/docs/bot29.htm Based on what I've seen it'd be a better choice for a trick gun to do that for civillians than the fn fiveseven.

    IDK much about ballistics.

Heres a link to S&B's ballistics on their ammunition

    http://www.sb-usa.com/pistol_ammo_page.htm

2 50 rd boxes of S&B cost $22 at the gun show :eek3:

I was feelin pretty shitty today til I got to shoot. I had a huge hangover. But then I drank some coke, and it was all good. Coke always seems to help :)

CZ-52s are bad ass. I've chronod several differant types of milsurp ammo out of mine and they're all consistent at around 1550 fps. You just have to be careful because some of that milsurp stuff has really hard primers. I've had a couple of differant types that FTF every other round on average. They fire the second time around, though. Part of it is the cheap, shitty firing pin that the gun comes out of the factory with. I'd get the upgrade from makarov.com but they're out of stock. On the other hand I've got some surplus ammo that I've never had a failure of any kind with. For the price they're one of the best handguns on the market. The fact that they're C&R eligible just makes them that much better.

    I think he said he's 20.

yeah the CZ52's are bad ass. I got a case of ammo suprlus from AIM, but i must've gotten one of the last cases, because they don't carry it anymore. It's czech surplus from the late '80s and mildly corrosive. the cz52 is now my "glove box" gun and what i keep in my vehicle at all times. for 140 bucks it's a cheap, relaible, powerfuld weapon, though ammo is hard to come by

I just bought some S&B because I dont get to shoot very often and the little that I would shoot wouldnt make a whole lot of difference in price.

Why? What does he look like?
    How old are you btw?
