Disabled OIF Vet...nerve damage in the right ankle. I rolled with B22 B Co. 1/64AR, attached to 3 BDE (before the whole UA reshaping), 3ID(M). Former 19K

I got out and the army called my injury 10%....nice sting considering that I can't stand up long anymore or walk right. But anyways, yeah, let my other vets sound off...especially my other Kilos!!

I know....it's still a slap in the face considering that after my surgery I never was able to stop using crutches or a cane to walk and teh butthurt fags denied the 10c:rl:

10c? Your injury sounds closest to mine and I'm wondering what I'll get when I retire. They gave you 10%?

10c is teh wonderfrul clause saying that the gov't acknowledges the injury was sustained in combat therefore qualifying you for a tax break. My records were lost due to the wonders of being cross-attached just to ANOTHER BRIGADE...just that 3d BDE is stationed over @ Ft. Benning rather than @ Stupid. THerefore I had to write an addendum in support of it in a sworn statement.

THeir reasoning for denying me the 10c as according to the findings:
"SM's story does not sound plausible due to standard TCP procedures and known enemy tactics."

-- wtf book did they get that out of? All that coming from some fat-cat COL who has probably never left being in a hospital in his entire army career of dispensing motrin to sick soldiers...

Yeah but then you're usually stuck in med hold for another 6 months :ugh2:

And even better than that is taht they can reverse their initial decision on your percentage and fuck you completely:ugh2:

50 for now. I'm having the DAV rep my case soon and appealing it....50 is only a combo for my ankle, shoulder & PTSD...the fuckers denied my hands because, as usual, records were lost:ugh:
