its a dark horse comic book, with the line up of comic books that have hit the screens in the past few years its not a shock this one was picked.

sorta like blade when it came out it really did not have that much of a following, most of the people that knew who blade was, came from his limited exposure in the spiderman comic and cartoon.

The movie looks interesting. I went to Barnes and Nobles and they had some Hellboy graphic novels and I read through some of them.

If anything ... Selma Blair is hot. :yum:

The movie looks like it will have some good character development to it, at least IMO.

  12. I'm probably one of only two of my friends that actually want to see this movie. I'm not really expecting much except some good action sequences. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for a cool action movie. From the commercials the movie actually looks pretty promising but i'm not going to go in with really high expectations as far as plot development goes.

Oh and sorry captain e-cool for not having an avatar. I forgot that avatars are actually a representation of a person's actual personality. So i guess me not having one means I have no personality and should just die of gonnorhea and rot in hell. I guess everyone just can't be as cool as you on an internet message board.

    Huh...

& I thought this was a thread about Hellboy, not Avatars & Subscriptions.

    anyhow....

I'm not a huge Hellboy fan, but I can't wait to see this film. I'm a little fearfull though, as a different forum I goto (sorry, i can't remember which one) said something about it being a dissapointment like League of Extratordinary Gentlemen was. Has anyone else heard any sort of talk compairing them?

No no, it is. I was just saying before how I was hoping that people with subscriptions, would actually post their thoughts about the movie. I guess FstrungUCoutT took it personally or something. :wtc:

Yeah, same here. I've never really read the comics, but the commercials really make me want to see this one. Haven't heard about that, but LXG wasn't that bad of a movie. I thought DareDevil was worse. :dunno:

It reminds me of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which I liked more than most, even if the movie was un-even.
I am reading a Hell-Boy novel right now and the character of Hell-Boy is a hoot. Ron Perlman should play him perfectly.

Man... it was an event! Free candy, popcorn, soda, pretzels, and ice cream. :big grin: On top of that, I walked in on a red carpet. Don't even ask.

The movie was pretty good. The commercials kind of ruined it though, in that they showed all of the highlights. When you finally see those scenes in the movie, you're thinking to yourself "man, I've only seen this 1,000 times before". :-/ Still a good movie overall.

    Kroenen was
