Tamron 28-70 f/2.8, after reading so much about it, i figured id save 700, and try it over the 24-70 canon.
    Canon BG-E2
    Canon UV-1 Filters x2(for this, and my 70-200 f4L)
    Kalt Neopreme Pro Strap

The Tamron is good, but if you do landscape you'll want to be wider. I felt like 28 would be fine when I first got it, and while I haven't lost a lot of shots b/c of not having wider, I do believe some of the shots would have been better with wider.

Not paying 1k for an EF-S non L lens.

As for famous, you say that now, but depending on what you should on a 1.6x crop, you'll want wider. I used to be interested in that lens. For now with my 20D I want the 12-24 or 10-22?
