for a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 for my rebel. :coold: thanks to those who pointed me in this direction, i'm sure i'll love it. if not, i'll return it and get something wider (maybe the canon 17-85 IS).

i chose UPS Ground so i'll probably have i early next week :) (i would have chose fedex but it was like $11 more :sad2:

I just bought a filter from them using USPS. It only took 3 days using priority mail.

it's ot's lens of choice, of course you'll love it.

on the other hand, i decided to go with the canon 17-85 and then a flash for those pesky dark shots. i don't regret it one bit.

Don't really need the grip, but I'm used to having one on my 10D.

    :werd:

But I needed the camera now and B&H has always been reliable and fast. I've heard too many horror stories about Dell. I totally forgot to use psaug, though. duh.

  17. doesn't look like psaug would have helped out much anyways. :o

I hope you get a sharp copy of the lens.

My tamron 28-75 isn't very sharp at all at 2.8. f4 and up is fine though with the sweet spot being somewhere between 5.6 and 8.0.

Dell sux. I originally placed an order for a 30D with them for 1299 (body only) in April. Turns out they were backordered for 35 days. I cancelled the order and took my price down to Shutterbug. Those idiots gave me the Camera + extra battery for $1340
