Man this thing is great, pics probably tomorrow. All matching serial numbers, wood in good shape, looks like its never been fired. Picked up 20 rounds of Winchester 7.62 from Big 5 when I got it, hoping to go shoot soon. I'm so excited as this is pretty much my first gun that I own outright.

I'm actually about 30 miles north-east of Sac near Auburn, so that probably isn't very close. Do you know how much it goes for? I can get 440 rounds for about $60 online.

Nice, my mom lives up there. This place is at 50 n sunrise. It will of course be cheaper online though. This is a small gun store but I dont remember the price. Does sportmans warehouse sell surplus?

I was thinking about calling them, there is one about 15 minutes from my house.

What do you mean by first guy you own outright? Such as you "use" your dads guns but keep them at your place?

I'm only 18 so I still live with my parents, and I'm pretty much the only one who uses my dad's guns but they are still his. This one I can call mine.

Well before when I got my SKS he said he wouldnt do ar recievers. This was a couple years ago. But I called him yesterday about transfering a AK reciever and he said he would...so I'm not sure about AR's but he will do AK's
