Now I need a bi-pod, this thing is heavy :hs:
I am looking at the harris L series swivel 9"-13", any other recomendations?
The gun came with the 2nd swivel stud, so I don't need an adaptor, correct? (thats what the website says)

The 2nd swivel stud is so you can use both a bipod and a sling at the same time.

    I hate you :squint:

the 10FPLE2B is on my wish list

  5. Ditch the stock, get a short stalk harris bi-pod, SSS has extended latch handles and get a douglas barrel. Don't skimp on your rings, base, and optics.

  9. Mcmillan and Bell and Carlson are probly the best choices for the 10fp.

That's two completely different ends of the spectrum, Do you want a $500 stock or a $100 stock? You might as well have said buy a Bentley or a Honda. Look at SSS stocks, they're better than B&C but not as pricey as McMillan.

  11. He asked me which one he's supposed to get, I've used both and those are my choices. It's a stock.

If it's just a stock then why should he replace it in the first place?

  13. Easy sniper, go put a few rounds downrange with the stocker then your questions will be answered.

And Winchesters, Rugers, Weatherbys, and Sakos :o

They're actually fools for not making Savage stocks, I'm sure there's a good market for them since the factory synthetics kinda suck.

its a big difference compared to the old savage stocks but I dont think its enough of an improvement over the new stocks to warrant a purchase :dunno: If I really wanted a good stock I'd kick in $100 more and get one from SSS.
