Any reason? the book looked like something I might consider picking up as a new carrier myself.

I am not a complete believer in the Stressfire technique of shooting, but he is an excellent writer. He has devoted his life's learning to investigating lethal force encounters. I have most if not all of those books in my library.

I suppose most importantly I don't feel like he really has credentials that are compelling to make think he is an expert in anything. In fact his writings about ammunition make me think he could use a little education. Read his stuff and make your own decisions. Its just gun magazine trash to me.

Still my favorite ayoob description so far (a little out of date, I think they have a couple new hires)

So aside from the stressfire, you still think there is tons of other good info in there?

Learn and assimilate. He's not the most current thinking in teaching, but he's usually got good data and anything that gets you thinking about the variables of lethal force use is good.

I do, he's not the end all, but is a great source to gather information from.

Try reading the book "The Bias Against Guns: Why Almost Everything You've Heard About Gun Control Is Wrong"

    It's a good read I think.
