What do you think the best way to partition it would be? I have a 200 GB internal HD, so I am thinking of partitioning into a 200 GB for Time Machine and then a 530 or so GB for extra file storage if and when I run out of space...what do you all think? Any other ideas?

just because your internal HD is 200 doesnt mean that you wont use more than that on your time machine. my internal is 160 and i'm already using like 180gb on my time machine drive, it backs up everything, so if you constantly have a full HD like I do, you'll want to allow more like 300gb for it.
