Just need a few tips

    I have not gotten any excersize for years and I want to get on track. I've been having some anxiety and depression issues recently and I'm hoping that if I get out there and ride my bike it will help, as well as eating a bit better.

    I have a crappy work schedule. I work 1-9pm. Is it better if I ride the bike before or after work? And should you eat after riding or a bit before?

    What is more convienant for you to ride choose that time.

    It is not like if you ride at noon you will lose 100lbs but you wait till 10 you will gain 100lbs.

    Diet wise read the stickies.

    Exercise is a great medicine, just make sure you go out and do it no matter how shitty you feel.

    Yeah I don't plan on going all out, hitting the gym and everything. At least not now. I just need to get some form of excercize. Thanks for the help guys

    so you enjoy doing halfass things with your life? :hsugh: maybe i was just born with more drive than the average person.. if im gonna do something my goal is to be the best at it, why else would i be doing someting?

    for me (i work 2:30 - 11), it's better to get my ass out of bed and ride before work (riding in the dark = :nono: )

    as far as eating around ride-time, i have something light before i go out (cereal, banana, powerbar, whatever), hydrate during (if my ride's gonna be a long one, say > 1.5 hours, i'll eat something during the ride as well), and it's A MUST to eat after...
