I'm not completely sure I have it set up right but I seem to have done okay. I have vmfusion set in my second space and osx in my first space, I only use two spaces. the windows seems to run a little slow, is there a way to fix this. I use a santa rosa mbp with 2gb ram. also any settings or things I need to change.

Im assuming this is correct but I can still see my dock in the virtual machine but if i click beside it then it will go away, is this the way it should be? this is in full screen which I want since its assigned to a space.

If you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes:

    1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

are you using 32bit or 64bit? best thing you can do is upgrade your ram. 1gb seems to be too little for OSX

also, how much ram did you give to 7 to use when the vm is running?

i have the 64 bit windows 7 bc thats what I had downloaded for a friend, i figured my specifications were fine but i forgot that i would also be running osx at the same time. i dont necessarily need 7 but figured it was the latest. i havent set how much ram to use, i honestly dont know how or how much to do.
