    So...

I was watching TV and putting together a new mix disk playlist for my car the other night and decided I needed album artwork for all my ripped CD's, so I went to Amazon and typed in the album title for each of the CD's that needed album art.

When you go to the item detail page for each CD, if you click on the CD image, a larger, unadulterated version will open up.

In iTunes, click on all the tracks for that album and "Get Info".

If you just click and drag the album art image from your web browser to the "Artwork" window in the Song Information window, then hit "OK", it will apply that album art to all the tracks and you didn't have to mess with downloading any images to your drive or scanning, photographing, etc. any album art. :)

Even better yet there's a program that will search Amazon for your art and update the files, all automatically. I can't remember the name of it though.

i'll be damned. thanks. :) i'll definitely have to use that for my primary iTunes machine since it has a lot more stuff on it. the method i described above worked fine on my laptop since it only had a few dozen albums on it anyhow.

yeah. i downloaded some applescript that was supposed to do it several weeks ago, but i was unable to get it to do much of anything and you had to sign up as an amazon integrator developer or some crap like that (which i did, but it still never worked).

my way was a million times less painful, especially since i was watching a movie and was going to be sitting for a couple of hours any how.

Is there any way to have itunes query some server and grab the other info for mp3's when given the song title and author?

I don't use any programs to do that because amazon usually has a bunch of different versions and I'm picky about how they each look.
