    Wait 'til you go to the strip with it. The pres of my club put some shorties on his 2002 Firehawk and picked up 7mph in the 1/4.

  6. I have been drag racing LS1s since '99 and have owned 4 different LS1 cars. Your statement is crazy, 7 mph is WAY too much for headers. More like 7mph = head/cam. Now it is possible that he was having issues he didn't know about and his car was running horrible and they somehow dissappeared while he installed his shorties (knock retard, bad gas..etc)

    Longtubes usually net around 1.5 - 2.5 mph and shorties around 1- 1.5 mph.
    I have Hooker longtubes and I got 1.9 mph (consistent) out of them.

    7mph = 75 shot of spray
    7mph = G5X-2 cam, longtubes, cutout, ASP pulley, and dyno tuning.
