What kind of tips can you guys give me to make sure they settle in nicely? They told me no pressure washes for a week, no rear defroster for a week, and put the windows down for three days.

Any other tips? Things I can do now?

Actaully, don't put the windows down for 3 days. Also, don't use ammonia-based window cleaners, they will turn the tint purple. Use Eagle One's 20/20. Great cleaner and won't ruin your tint.

Other than that, you should be fine.

Uhh, they tint the inside of windows. Unless it's raining in his car, I think he's all set. :ugh2:

I meant to put "don't put them down for 3 days." Oops.

Eagle One 20/20 is safe, eh? Should I go easy on it since it's freshly applied, or normal pressure?

I don't think it's going to matter, but for right now I would go easy on it. Are your windows clean now? If so, let the cleaning go for a few days. I'm not sure if anything will happen if you try to clean them too soon, but I wouldn't want to mess anything up, especially if they're already clean.

How's the tint job look? Good?

I haven't really gotten a good look...when they finished, it was dark, so I'm gonna do an intense look-around tomorrow morning. They have a lifetime guarantee, and I got to know the owners of the place pretty well while they worked on it.

You've always been a helpful member, and I've never had a problem with you anyway. What the fuck gives me the right to be an asshole to you? :)

Yeah, do what EMT and the tint shop told you. Absolutely don't clean the inside windows for at least 3 days, 7 is better. I've used 20/20 on my tinted windows and my tint has been on my car for 7 years and still looks great.

Should I leave the car in the sun as much as possible, to get the water to evaporate?

And there are just a few small "air/water bumps" in the tint in a few places. This will go away, right? Or should I take it back?

    BUMP

Before getting windows tinted, should I not put stickers or anything on the windows? (No, not ricey decals :fawk: ) The guy I plan on going to fits the tint on the outside to make sure it's cut right, and I don't want said sticker messing things up.

I would wait until the tinting is all done to apply any decals.
