Last night i put the front window down (Not thinking, i couldnt see a thing and i was trying to back up - i got the tint done that morning). Did i permantely mess it up? There are some marks from where it rubbed but they are barely visible. :hs:

Usually, the tint shop applies some tape with the words "do not roll down for 7 days" right over your power window buttons.

Don't know if you messed anything up though.

    You probably didn't.
Usually dries in about 24 hours...never had anyone tell me 7 days (that's just my experience).
Just have the company check it out or wait and see if you can wipe it off with a damp towel.

Car and windows look slick as hell though!!!
    Be proud.

if you messed it up you would know it. it would have peeled right off the window. just be thankful you didnt.

I was gonna start a new thread but this one seems appropriate enough for the question. I also just got my windows tinted about 2 weeks ago. As I understand it some window cleaners will eat at the tint film. Wondering whats a good product to use on windows with aftermarket tint film on them?

I was told use soap and water, not windex.

    My windows are fine btw.

Stoners or Crystal Image foam window clear is fine. I actually just use a slightly damp MF towel with no cleaner now!

    Works just as good.
