you need a good gun belt and a good holster, IWB would be your best bet for concealment

without doubt, i am the skinniest mofo on this site.

    i can conceal a full sized 1911.

you just need a quality holster and a quality belt.

p99 is one of the smaller/more slender full size guns, you should be able to conceal it just fine.

and i agree with post 2 and 3. get a good holster and a good belt and you can conceal just about anything with the right clothing.

i have a full size 1911 under my shirt. can you see it?

now you can see it's there.

keep in mind those pics were taken into a mirror. that is actually right side carry, NOT left. :)

if i can pull of a 1911, you should have NO worries with a walther p99.
ETA: most sheeple will NEVER make out a print. only fellow ccw permit holders will. ;)

That's all I wear ever. Except sometimes I wear jeans and a polo shirt.

If you get a good IWB holster and a good [gun] belt, you'll be fine.

Yep, I know I've printed plenty of times from my wife telling me and no one besides her has ever noticed, not even family or friends afaik.

if it helps you out at all, that is a milt sparks versa max 2 holster. it ain't cheap, but it's pretty damn good, if you ask me.

just get a good holster and go with it. like i said....you will be shocked at how many people will NOT notice it. we can open carry here in VA, and when i do, hardly anyone notices that either.....

    don't sweat it dude. :coolugh:

ctac or mtac is what I use. I don't know if the make a p99 body or not.

I carry a sig 226 (another full size) with no problem.

edit: like others have said, when you're first carrying it'll fell like everyone is watching you and your baby killer. they haven't.

No point in not having one in the chamber, imo.

and yes, I recently started carrying an extra mag.

one in the chamber for me. ;)

    and i carry a g26.

if it ain't loaded, it ain't no good. :naughty: IMO.

ETA: i don't carry extra mags. i have 5 extra mags in my truck, and i have 4 extra mags at work behind the counter. if i need more then that, then God help me, cuz i need it.

i just can't deal with the exta weight on my belt. :(

You should able to carry that gun with some fitting (belt & holster). I always carry with one in the chamber.

I wear jeans pretty much every waking moment of my life, and i have a few fairly wide belts from Dillards/Pennys etc.
I use MTac but i dont have a specific "gun belt", and after some adjustmens and time, it works out great.

The p99 isn't a fullsize gun and isn't too rough to conceal. I'm selling my tucker answer for my p99 if you're interested but any of the usual holster makers should have something for you too.

New they're $125 and have a 3-4 month lead time. How about $100 shipped paypal, $95 usps money order. Its only got a couple dozen hours of wear on it, if you want pics let me know.

i like! im not sure if i will buy it this month. i just bought a set of 33" tires, and i still need to buy the lift for my truck, and get it installed. so my spending cash is limited. if you still have it in a month or so, send me a pm, ill grab it from ya.

    do you have a .40 or a 9mm?

Cool, I've got it listed for sale in a couple places, if you find yourself with the cash whenever just let me know. Personally I have the 9mm but you'll find almost all holster makers mold the p99 holsters on the .40 so you can use a 9mm or .40 in it (.40 is slightly bigger).

On that note if you go looking for other holsters, the older series P99 has a slightly different trigger guard than the 2005 and later models. The newer P99's will generally fit in this holsters but if they fit well enough is a more subjective matter. I don't believe they do.
