It took the artist about an hour to do it, small tat. Think of taking the bandage off soon, been about an hour, and then wash the tat off. Then put some A and D on it. This sound good to you all?

    thanks:)

    edit: i'll post pics later

Sounds about right. You should lightly wash it with soap and water, then apply a lite coat of A/D.

    Nivea cream works well also.

If you have a tattoo shop that sells H20 products, the aftercare cream they make is really good.

i've never used the A&D, i just shower w/ white soap, but it works for a lot of others here so it can't hurt

i just showered and used some Dove sensative skin soap, patted dry, then applied a thin coat of A/D. Seems to have done the trick. I haven't shown my wife yet. She knows that i have wanted to get one, and knows the design i picked, but doesn't know that i got it done:big grin: She'll be home soon:noes:

Dial antibaterial soap (dial gold soap) and bacitracin ointment works for me. I've found A&D doesn't work well for me.

Thanks for the tips:) Here is a pic. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but she still liked it.

no offense taken. I can see where the confusion would arise. you can see that I'm not a skinny guy and reaching across my body was a stretch.

I've been around message boards for a long time, I know that tone is impossible to tell on the internet. I take all words at face value and take tone out of it. I'm an admin on another message board and wish that more of our members would take that stance:wtc:

    thanks:wiggle:

I can't really even feel it today. Still putting A and D on it every few hours. Going to switch to Lubriderm this evening around the 24 hour mark.

yeah, i got instructions. its was just that every place I looked said something different. For some reason, whenever I search for something, I can never find it. BTW, I can't even feel this thing today. Swithced to the Lubriderm this afternoon.

I am really happy with this. I am about the last guy you'd ever expect to get ink done.
