The 8.2 effective Megapixel Canon EOS-20D camera body & cap
    1 Canon EF 18-55mm lens
1 Canon EF 50mm lens (purchase in August of this year- used twice)
    1 Canon Professional Camera Bag
    2 Canon BP-511A Li-ion rechargeable battery packs
    1 Cannon battery charger
    1 Canon neck strap
    1 USB cable
    1 Video cable
    1 Lens cleaning cloth
All original software that includes- Canon EOS Digital Solution Disk, Digital Photo Professional and Adobe Photoshop Elements
    Camera manual + software manual
4 year extended warranty from Best Buy (that has 2 years left on it)

Picked it up on ebay for $950.
    What do you guys think?

What should be my first lens?

I was thinking something versitile, but short. Maybe a 70-200 something. What do you guys recommend?

A bit overpriced but the warranty could make it a steal assuming you transfered it legally. Fry's is a stickler on that

70-200 isn't short, but is an amazing lens. You may want a wide angle too

Not looking for $1000 lens, maybe something more reasonable? not 70-200, but something versitile and fun

Is the 50mm the f/1.8 or the f/1.4? I can't tell from that shot.
