GUN just got my ar15 but my dealer need a copy of the FFL from the sender????

    is that normal? i thought you dont need a FFL to send firearm?

    sender is CMMG Inc so they wont have a problem with sending a FFL but im just curious to see why my dealer would need it

    Some dealers only accept guns from other FFLs.

    and some will charge you more if it's not from an ffl holder

    Your FFL needs the info for his bound book, anyone sending you a firearm should send a copy of their license if a dealer or drivers license if an individual

    yeah, drivers license should suffice if it came from a non-dealer
