I'll be starting in January finishing out my rotations.

    Can't freakin' wait.

If any of you are in Dallas, come say hi. I'd love to see meet you or treat you dependent on the situation.

    WOOT!!

The gift that keeps on itching :naughty:

Serious question though...I may have developed a career ending disease (Multiple Sclerosis) and have 18 months to go before i get my 20.

I seems that the Reserves want to kick my ass out before i get a firm diagnosis.

I found out that the VA deems MS as a Service connected disorder....is there anyone at the VA I can talk too on whether I should try and fight for my 20, or just go with the VA :hs:

You should go talk to the VA about it either way...

Don't wory too much about it. They're going to try to pass you off as "not their problem", but stay on them about it and you've got the paperwork to determine that this was an existing condition before seperation paperwork was submitted.

Your best bet is to get it handled now. Unfortunately it may take some time to get a firm diagnosis and then it'll be a fight to get it retroed.

I've seen a lot of folks have to fight it but most of the cases get won.

    Best of luck.

Just find your local VA office and walk in, they will help you find out where to go/who to talk to about it
