I didn't take too many shots as i grew to hate my d70 as it was so much effort to carry it and protect it from thieves during 6 weeks backpacking (I had 30 other kilos to carry also).

Its also so frustrating using a DSLR as a point and shoot, as our Ixus died on the way :o

    Anyway...:hsd:

    These are the winners.

That first shot is v.nice, needs a bit of a boost in the shadow tones. highlights & shadows in photoshop will do the trick.

I really love this series because each photo is different in regards to being waterscapes, sunsets, street shots, etc! Number 8 is just superb! Well done

i just got the d70 so just the kit lense. I was really wishing for a zoom and fisheye lense alot, other than that the kit lense was great.

I kept the camera pretty clean but its amazing how sand infiltrates everything so yeah had to clean it a bit, but it survived

As for thieves, just kept it along with other valuables close to me at all times. Obviously you miss alot of shots in big cities because its too risky to spend time looking through a lense and making yourself a target.
