this was the only think that I was looking for other than ammo and maybe ammo cans for said ammo......didn't end up getting the ammo, but oh well, still worth the trip:

Look under the buttplate, there should be the info of the soldier who was issued it.

just make sure not to look at ammo prices before you do :hsd:

I'm just going to have to not shoot this as much as the AK, AR, or mosin...

our ripshow sucked ass as usual, this is the last time im going to one. its the same overpriced shit every show, it never changes, the prices are never lowered, always higher. i did see one guy had some 8mm mauser ammo, 900 rounds for 125. didnt know if i should get some and sell it. it was in a sealed silver tin. other then that, i was disappointed. glad yours went well.

oh, i cant forget to mention the idiot old guy who walked up behind me while i was looking at the price tag on this rock island 1911(475 :ugh:) and he goes, "those rock islands are the best damn 1911's ive ever shot, so smooth and everything. its like a 2000 dollar gun. the only thing better is the smith and wesson model." i go, do you mean rock river arms? he goes no, rock island. i gave him the :ugh: face and walked off.

I kept looking at 1911s even though I'm hardly deficient in handguns.

    Saiga-12s simply cannot be found.

some sort of nutty railed upper.

Here I was thinking of a stripped AR lower with a parts kit, an upper if the prices happen to be decent, and an outside chance I snag a Mosin in the event I find one that's moderately clean with a decent bore.
