What a ridiculous 8.5 weeks. BMT for the AF was pretty meh, to sum it up- the best time I'd never want to have again. Made a lot of good friends, got my 1.5 mile run time down to 10 minutes flat, shot expert, had an overall good time, but really glad that it's over.

Just got home this morning, don't ship to tech until October (thanks Guard). So now it's just a game of staying in shape and working my regular job until then. Pretty nice not having to roll socks in 2 inch cubes anymore and other stupid shit like that. The T.I's are a joke there. Mine was a prior SF sniper/paratrooper and had a huge ribbon rack, most of the others were SA that thought they were tough but didn't scare anyone but the 18 year olds.

Ohwell, I recommend it to anybody. Glad I am home.

please dont tout your squadron and shit like that. no one really cares if you're from the almighty 3xx squadron. they brain wash you into that mindset but try to unwash it when you get to tech school.

Remember, tech school is a continuation of BMT. At least that is what I was told when I got to Keesler.

I did the same thing but the guy was walking around with no hat...
I yelled where the F!@# is your F#@#$$ing hat airman?? out of my rental.
it was in his pocket and fumbled for it and gave me an Oh Shit look. I thought he was going to cry. I chuckled

It was cool being a bad ass SSgt everyone moving out of my way opening doors calling me sir all the time letting me cut in line at the BX..

Glad I had the 6 week BMT. The two additional weeks sounded like a waste of time.

Keesler has bad ass gyms and galley's. Fuck I wish I was still there. I remember we used to fuck with you guys so much there. I guess they don't teach you Navy ranks in the AF... I remember getting saluted and being called Sir on a daily basis.

Had one of my Navy C-Schools there, but since I was Navy I stayed at the Hotel... the amount of Hoe Bags and Airmen that would come fuck there on the weekends was ridiculous... Then as for Biloxi... shit hole. The Casinos were kinda fun on week nights... play the cheap slots and get free drinks. Then cruise to Bourbon Street over in New Orleans on the weekends... good times. I wish I had gotten a picture of one of the best billboard I've ever seen out of from New Orleans. It said "If you've been drinking, drive carefully". Ahhhhh, the good ol Southern States.

Keep your dick in your pants while you're there... them MS girls are hot while they're young but take a look at the lard asses that live around there. That's what they turn into and you don't need a kid with some of the mamals we occasionally see out here at sea.

its sad how all the SrA girls are fat/out of shape/whales...but the new airmans are fit/somewhat fuckable. It just goes down hill after they get to their first duty station.
