Alot nicer then my Samsung E715.
Had mine about 6 months now. Nice phone but the joystick has fucked up
V3 for me soon
the v3 is crap, especially if you live in the UK and have like 100 nicer phones to choose from.
Looks like i'll be going back to nokia or samsung then.
Sony Ericsson K700i is cool. That is what I'm using now tethered up with my IPAQ RX3115. The RAZR is junk. Its just a V600 in an aluminum casing. eh.... Scorchio, if you can wait a month, you will be in love with Sony Ericsson.
where did you buy the 700i? whose your provider, do you get good reception?
Bought mine from SonyEricsson. Yes, reception is awesome with T-Mobile.
My K700 will be going for repair sometime this week. I really cant fault the features on the phone, its the build quality on mine that seems to be the problem. The joystick will not work at all and buttons get stuck sometimes. Battery life is awful, needs charging everyday and it keeps dropping the signal/getting bad reception, tho that might not be the phones fault.
I think the problem is that my K700 is that it was in the first batch to be released so its probably got some bugs in it. Other people i know with K700 haven't had any of the problems i've had, guess i was just unlucky.
I have Tmobile and it works great. Great receptiong...better then my Samsung E715.
Battery Life is OK...not great...but not horrible. I can got 2 days maybe 3 without charging it. But turning it off at night.
I think battery life is the biggest thing to plague the K700i even from when it had R1A firmware. I get 2 solid days of use with bluetooth turned on and using the headset. At most I get 3-4 days standby so the specs are definitely way off. I can't wait for the T650/F700i to come out...not too keen about phones with moving parts so I guess I have to be patient until February or so.
I doubt i could get 48 on stand-by out of mine,it really is that bad. Using bluetooth really does kill the battery.Had a look around and i think i fancy a Samsung D500 next.>>LINK<<
Samsung makes junk these days. Actually no one in Asia really uses Samsung especially hong kong, china and taiwan...they don't like korean companies or korean made products for some reason. If the D415 is any indication of how the D500 will be, it will feel broken even before taking it out of the box.
