    I am afraid of those. my beater from school will not work when i start working. as i probably need a car that is 100% reliable with working A/C. can't get to work all sweaty. also thinking about a house in about a year. oh and the GF wants to get married in a year or 2. but no kids for me for a while. oh and student loan payments :(

    i was thinking:
    1. FS2000 or Steyr Aug
    2. 1911 (maybe an operator, or something with a full dust rail)
    3. Desert Eagle (no kidding) in 357 or 44 mag
    4. AK74
    5. Battle Rifle in .308

    but realistically I would be happy to just get one of those. but a man sure can dream

    Congrats man, I'm graduating with a bachelors in ME this June. Already accepted a job as a project engineer for an Industrial Contractor. I'm single with no gf, so I get to play. First, newer truck for work, then new motorcycle, and a dash of new guns here and there. Maybe something class 3, as an "investment"

    I'm thinking about AK47, what's the difference between it and AK74? I just heard that AK47's ammo is cheaper than 9mm (read it in a forum but I don't remember how old the post was), is this still true?

    AK47 = 7.62x39
    AK74 = 5.45x39

    5.45 right now is cheaper, and it is also more accurate than the 7.62x39 round.

    True. At one point I wanted to teach for high school, but I changed my mind quickly :o

    I had a teacher that taught a lot of history on warfare, I took 2 classes from him and they were great. Mentioned a lot of stuff about guns...but he didn't know much about them. It kept me awake anyway :o
