A&P Just got a Canon 50mm 1.8 MK II... YAY

    didn't really have much composition in mind for these ones.. mostly just testing out the lens.. looks like I got a sharp copy :)

    :werd: it's a great focal length for crop-bodies..

    I rented an 85 1.2L once, it was an amazing lens, but dang, you have to be 10 feet away from a subject to get a good framing...

    Yeah I took the 50 to a museum :rofl: Got some decent pics, but always a small focused subject

    i don't do as many portraits so the 24mm or a 35mm is a good focal length for me

    I wish the 50 had circular bokeh and ring USM, even if it cost double it'd be awesome

    I loved my 50/1.8 cause it was soooooo sharp. really good value but I wanted the USM so i recently upgraded to the 50/1.4

    Hang on, a 35mm x 1.6 is like a 56mm on full frame, and I was always told 50mm is the proper focal length for portraits. What gives?

    sigma's 50mm 1.4 is just awesome
