My firing party will be doing his funeral tomorrow in Arlington National Cemetery. It will be on Live TV. President Bush will be at the funeral. I am nervous, we better not fuck up...

Doing Chief Rehnquist's funeral would have to be a great honor, I'm sure you and the rest of your firing party will do fine. I'll be watching for you, and I'm sure some of the other Barracks members will be too. Good luck

I thought there were veterans organizations or something which always attended military funerals even for people they don't know or never met.

thanks. yeah it was private. president was not at the actual funeral (we were told he probably would be) he was at the memorial or whatever. it was very small crowd at funeral, mainly family i believe. there were photographers but it was just personal photos for family not the press. cool stories about seeing the presidents and stuff. i have saluted President Bush almost a dozen times now, pretty cool

Not me I wouldnt be able to handle the crying widows and shit, PLUS the dropping of the rifle would not be a good thing.
