    BEWARE, VERY VERY BLOODY

Alright, somehow I came across this link
    http://forums.ehacked.com/showthread.php?t=1079

and im just curious as to what exactly cutting your flesh from your skin does in the long run. I understand it scars, but does it create those really risen bumpy scars or what? This just does not look in any way appealing to me.

Of course, that will scar (you already knew that). Depending on how it is dressed and treated will affect the final outcome. I have seem some cuttings that were then scoured with india ink to impregnate the scars with some pigment and some others that were left alone.

IMO, scarring for caucasians is sort fo a waste as the scars fade very quickly. In the procedure pictured where skin was actualy removed I would guess that the scarring would be far more pronounced (in those areas) and less so in the "heart rhythm" section between the bands.
