Got the tat on 2/27, can should be here 7/21.
I cant wait
Pics of the tat?
2 people here have gotten theirs in. Still waiting on my m42000 and evo-9
I have a feeling it is going to take a while.
I still don't think I would have done it. Maybe for like 3 suppressors, but not for 1
You that that tattoo of a dick on your back for free
He got a free fleshlight for it.
cool company, cool promotion, its win/win IMO
Mark LaRue hates them, good enough reason for me to hate them!
that was almost funny. but not really
I'd get a LaRue tat in a heartbeat
I'd get a dillo tattood on me for an osr
i've never dealt with LaRue, but Mike Mers at AAC has been really helpful
Larue was thinking about going into Suppressors, AAC used to love Laure shit.
AAC threatened Mfingar (the guy who takes the Larue pictures, who wasn't an employee at the time) with legal bullshit, Larue protected him and bad blood was begun. Larue never released silencers, but Kevin from AAC and ML had begun their feud.
ML stickied the entire story on his industry forum on Arf.
Mike Mers was hired SPECIFICALLY because for a long time, AAC was known for having shitty ass customer service. Since he's been with them though, AAC's CS reputation is actually quite good.
I don't really care about industry drama, i just buy the best eqipment. I like Larue mounts and AAC cans.
Kinda wish I got a SPR/M4, but the M4-2000 is a close second in terms of raw performance.
AAC cans according to independent testing at silencerreach.com (not to be confused with silencertests.com, owned by a now AAC employee) are simply the best in terms of sound attenuation.
The mininimal shift helps too.
PS: Just realized Mark Larue is a ginger.
thats my opinion
I would never get a tattoo for a suppressor.
They are not that expensive to begin with.
Outside of .22 cans they're expensive enough where I could never justify the cost vs. return.
i've wanted one for a while now, but couldn't ever justify spending $1000 on one
I always wanted a 9mm and a 22 can, not for sure about the rest. I shot a Sig + Evo combo and honestly wasn't hugely impressed. Neat, but I would never leave it on the pistol to shoot with. Too big/bulky/long/heavy/etc.
Those always seemed like the most practical for me and let you get close to 'hollywood' quiet. Supersonic rifle caliber suppressors do quiet it down, but they are still pretty loud, no matter what suppressor you get.
Yeah, actually a dedicated subsonic bolt gun would prolly be pretty fun as well.
Spending that kind of money to not even be hearing safe really doesn't interest me much though...
True, but it would be invaluable in a SHTF situation
I just realised I need over $200.00 worth of shit to run the evo-9 on my 9mm ar the way I want
Also need a blackout for another ar and a threaded barrel for a glock to utilize the two I have coming. It's getting spendy.
I can just imagine the guys at AAC sitting back and laughing at all the tools that put their company logo on their back for a Supressor that costs them 5 bucks to make lol
I think the only real choice for a bolt gun is the Silent Destroyer.
Silent Destroyer is up there on the list of things to buy when I win the lottery.
