hey, i don't usually post here because i'm an amateur at photography. i see some of the shit you guys do here and it intimidates me, honestly. i don't have a DSLR and i only just recently learned to shoot in manual mode. i know next to nothing about post processing (i can change the contrast and sharpen pictures in photoshop, lol) i just figured that my pictures turned out really well, considering my experience (or lack thereof).

Pretty nice shots there, love the fog in 6, if only everything was shifted a bit to the left.

Yeah, left side of the sign has too much light.

H5 is a damn good point and shoot which lets you go semi manual...

It's not the equipment, it's the user.

So don't think some DSLR is going to improve you're pictures. (may increase visual quality) I just don't think it will improve composition, lighting, etc...since that's all up to you.

    Nice pics though!

Your shots look just like mine when I was starting out. To an amateur everything looks cool. Over time you'll get bored with "simple" subject matter and take fewer pictures as you walk around.
