Leupold, they're nice scopes and they have a lifetime warranty, regardless of whether you're the first or tenth person to own the scope.

The XD is nice, I shot one in 9mm last weekend, but I personally didn't care for the trigger that much. It seemeed a bit spongey to me, I like the Glock trigger better, but to each his own.

No, I've been looking at a new rifle for months and out of every brand I've handled remingtons have felt the cheapest and most poorly constructed. I'm talking the ADLs and BDLs, not the higher-end rifles. I was looking up stuff about left handed rifles on accuratereloading.com and numerous people said remingtons quality has started to suffer in the last 5 or so years, maybe thats what the problem is. :dunno:

i still havent shot the tikka but i love the xd, i was choosing between it and the glock 19 and it seemed to fit in my hand a lot better, one of my roommates has an identical xd-40 and its a really nice gun, i found out bar-sto makes a 9mm barrel to fit the xd-40 so i could have had 2 guns in one if i would have bought that instead, i also found out that somehow xd-40 10rd magazines fit and cycle 15 9mm rounds without modification FYI

I am looking into the XD-40, I already have a 9mm, but how do you find information on that kit, I would be interested it would be cool to switch the barrels out

I found online.. the barrels I could find run about $200 which aint bad.. I might just stick with the .40 if I decide on the XD
