I bought a GE with full buttstock and half a dozen mags and some ammo for $350 about 6 years ago.
Guess I should have kept it! :big grin:

M-1 Carbines are fun guns. Kinda boring to shoot, but you know.

I have 3 right now and would like to get all the basic manufacturers for the collection out of the way sometime shortly.

I do know that my M1A1 isnt worth a motherfuck for shooting.

I never liked my carbine much. A pistol cartridge in a rifle seems like a wasteto me. But I like 'em for historical purposes.

.30 is inbetween a rifle and pistol. I thnk its main advantage is weight.

They have revolvers chambered in .30 carbine. I still think it's a hell of a lot closer to a .357 than a .308 :big grin:
    But whatever floats your boat.

I might be picking up a carbine at a gun show 2 weeks from now, depending on how much money I have.

They seem like they'd be pretty good for zombies too. Despite what that "zombie survival guide" says, I really can't believe that .22 would be that good against zombies.
