I just bought a the cheap Wacom Bamboo fun tablet. I must say, I should have done this a long long time ago.

    Where's the tablet crew at?

$99. It a 4x6 - 5.8" W x 3.7" D is the actual active dimensions. It came with some software and also a mouse too. The Bambo line is the basic consumer line, but for what I do, it's all I need. Comes in a few different colors too.

Yeah man. I'm really satisfied about it. Read the reviews. Most people like it. The only thing they don't like is the size (small for some people) and the pen is really light. But other than that people love it.

For the price, I decided I couldn't go wrong. Try and find a used one or something to try out.

    Here are the specs:

It replaces your mouse. The pen becomes what controls the cursor. You can vary your pressure on the pen to make things more bold or soft. Pretty neat stuff.

Just like a mouse as far as clicking on apps and controlling them. The text think works, thought you have to have somekind of other software. Vista has it built in, as well as Apples Ink program.

I know with the Intuous you can use it anywhere that text can go.. So you could use it to write stuff her in OTAP if you wanted

I have a Cross iPen model:IP21000-01 that I got for free a while back. It has no pen, should I even bother trying to source one?

    Anyone know anything about Cross?

I wonder how long these plastic nubs last. They included 3. :noes:

I really needed an ergonomic alternative to a mouse, so the pen really is a blessing.
