    Canon 20D with all original shit, warranty still good
    Canon 70-200mm f/4L
    some Hoya filters
    1gb card
    time lapse cable release remote... interesting?
    LowePro bag (looks nice)


    I sold my Rebel a few weeks ago and finally got around to finding something I liked... can't wait till it's in. :bigthumb:

    honestly, save up for the f/2.8 or if you can save a little more get the IS version. you can look on fred miranda at all the people saying they wish they would have gotten the IS and all the people with the f/4 selling them for the f/2.8 IS

    I really like the 70-200mm, but I can't justify spending $1700 on a lens unless I got paid to take pics. I might go ahead and get the f/2.8, but I don't need an IS lens at this point in time.

    i'm asking because i honestly don't know, but is the 2.8 going to give you that much better quality from the 1.2 difference in the f? the price is nearly double for the 2.8 vs 4 and i'm really debating this lens...

    in my opinion, yes. 2.8 to 4 is quite a jump. there is a big difference when i shoot indoor sports at 2.8. theres no way i could do it at 4
